These enticing aromatics lead into dense flavors of black currant, black cherry, roasted coffee bean and spice alongside dark chocolate that lingers on this complex palate. With firm dusty lush tannins that are balanced by a nice touch of oak, acidity and fresh tobacco and spice on the finish, this is a very opulent and layered Cabernet Sauvignon that will age nicely.

The 2016 vintage shows very complex aromatics of dried Bing cherry, blackberries, anise, and graphite with a hint of herbs and spice on the nose. The palate has layered dense flavors of black currant, cherry and spice with a nice touch of minerality that completes that concentrated but delicate mouthfeel. It is this nice balance of fine and complex tannins alongside a bright fruit intensity with a nice touch of minerality, oak, and a sturdy backbone of acidity that are the characteristics we love about the Sheridan Vineyard site and what we think sets it apart.
